Row over NHS kidney drug decision

A government advisory board is proposing to issue guidelines that will deny advanced kidney cancer patients of four life-enhancing treatments on the NHS.The National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) draft guidelines state that four treatments for kidney cancer 'are not cost effective' on the NHS, and so should not be given to patients in England and Wales.Graham Satchell reports.
