Lyne-Smith of Baer Says Deutsche Telekom Needs New Strategy

Kevin Lyne-Smith, head of group equity research at Julius Baer in Zurich, talks with Bloomberg's Rishaad Salamat and Guy Collins in London about yesterday's ousting of Deutsche Telekom AG's chief executive officer Kai-Uwe Ricke and E.ON AG's 37.1 billion-euro ($47.6 billion) takeover bid for Endesa SA. Andrew Moulder, an analyst with Creditsights Inc., also speaks. Ricke's departure comes four days after Deutsche Telekom said third-quarter profit dropped 20 percent as mobile earnings fell and the loss of fixed-line clients accelerated. (Source: Bloomberg)
