He is the founder and proprietor of the blog Ankle Biting Pundits. Erick Erickson is the managing editor of RedState.com, the largest conservative community blog on the internet. Jerome Armstrong is one of the first political bloggers, one of the architects of Howard Dean's internet campaign, and has worked as a strategic advisor for multiple campaigns and organizations. He is the co-author of "Crashing the Gate: Netroots, Grassroots and the Rise of People-Powered Politics." Joan McCarter is a contributing editor at Daily Kos, writing as "mcjoan." She has focused on Iraq, the traditional media, and electoral politics at the blog. McCarter was one of a dozen bloggers who attended a private meeting with President Bill Clinton in September, 2006. During the 2006 election, McCarter focused her writing on Democratic prospects in the west. She traveled throughout the Rocky Mountain states through the last weeks of the campaign, researching and writing about Democratic candidates and campaign strategies. Scott Johnson is a Minneapolis attorney, a fellow of the Claremont Institute for the Study of Statesmanship and Public Policy, and cofounder of the Power Line blog, Time Magazine's first and so far only blog of the year (2004). In addition to publishing articles on trial and appellate practice, he has contributed articles, essays and columns to National Review, the Weekly Standard, the American Enterprise and to newspapers throughout the United States. David D. Perlmutter is a professor and associate dean for graduate studies & research at the William Allen White School of Journalism & Mass Communications, University of Kansas. He received his BA and MA from the University of Pennsylvania and his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. He has served as a Board member of the American Association of Political Consultants and now sits on the National Law Enforcement Museum Advisory Committee.
